About me

I'm a New York City-based journalist who also calls the Philippines home. I find myself always hungry for the truth, for stories, and for adventure... but, mostly, for good food.

I’ve published two STEM-based, non-fiction children’s book titles for Scholastic Inc.’s A True Book series: A Green Future: Green Energy and The Earth at Risk: Forests in Danger.

I write about basically anything and everything within the lifestyle and culture space—from the evolution of Filipino pastries and desserts, Southeast Asian brunch in NYC, and Isabella Rossellini's chicken farm to Crazy Rich Asians’ style, how intimate TV/movie scenes are going to work in a Covid world, and religion in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Oh, and I make videos, too.

I have a master's in journalism from NYU, and have been interviewed by the BBC, Esquire, and Cosmopolitan Philippines.
